This is Bloom Cycle
Bloom Cycle is a Brisbane-based social enterprise founded by Zoe Atterbury, a neurodivergent and disabled entrepreneur, speaker and advocate.
We design and manufacture sustainable trophies, awards and recognition pieces from reclaimed materials, including Queensland timber diverted from landfill.
Our work is about more than products. Bloom Cycle creates paid, flexible and supported creative manufacturing pathways for people with lived experience and barriers to traditional employment.
We currently have 8 staff across Brisbane, Wagga Wagga and Melbourne, all with lived experience and employment barriers. Through real customer orders, our team builds practical skills, confidence, income, work readiness and pathways into longer-term employment, leadership or future microenterprise.
We exist to prove that work can be designed differently - with dignity, flexibility, creativity and support built in from the start.

An average imported plastic trophy embodies around 2.4 kg CO₂-e, while a locally made Bloom Cycle trophy crafted from reclaimed Queensland timber emits only about 0.08 kg CO₂-e — avoiding roughly 2.4 kg CO₂-e per award based on WWF Australia and AusLCI life-cycle data.
